BEROA IBERIA has been awarded in Argentina with the revamping of ABF 2 furnace, an anodes unit with Pechiney technology. This installation has 50 sections and 5 pits per section with a total volume to be installed of 4800 m3 of different qualities refractory materials. Job will start in January 2012.
Following its internationalitation strategy, BEROA IBERIA through its subsidiary BEROA ARGENTINA has been awarded with a hollow glass unit rebuilding in the Veralias´ Rayen Cura factory located in Mendoza (Argentina). The unit, that will be rebuilt in November and December will need the processing of more than 2600 T of high quality refractory materials.
Through its subsidiary Beroa Gulf, was awarded the demolition and installation of an anode furnace with Riedhammer technology, that Dubai Aluminium company has in that country. The unit is formed by 32 sections and 7 pits per section. Beroa Iberia expects to begin work soon, with an estimate of 60 working days.

An innovative project on ecological and environmental terms.
On 09/05/2011 a quality certificate renewal audit was conducted in the Sondika office in accordance with ISO9001-2008.
The audit was conducted by two auditors from the LRQA certification company.
The result of the audit was favorable, resulting in the ISO9001-2008 certification being renewed until 2014.
This project has a total of 2,500 individuals belonging to various companies, among which is Beroa Iberia S.A., with a workforce of 110 people.
Upon completion of the repairs, the furnace will produce between 7,000 and 7,500 tons of iron per day.
